Rudyard Kipling

Rudyard Kipling (1865–1936) was a British author, poet, and journalist who is best known for his works of fiction and poetry that often celebrated the British Empire and its colonial endeavors. He was born in Bombay, British India (now Mumbai, India), and spent a significant portion of his life in India before moving to England.
