Mikhail Lermontov

Mikhail Lermontov (1814–1841) was a Russian Romantic poet, novelist, and painter, known for his contributions to Russian literature during the 19th century. He is considered one of the most important figures in Russian Romanticism and is often compared to Alexander Pushkin, another prominent Russian poet of the same era.
