Issac Johnson

Isaac Johnson (1844-1905), a former slave, worked as a mason and stonecutter in Canada and New York. He and his wife, Theodocia Allen, had seven children. In 1901, he authored “Slavery Days in Old Kentucky,” offering unique insights into his experiences and the history of slavery in Kentucky.
